Classic Party Rentals in Atlanta was given the 2009 Best Use of Rental Equipment Award at the 19th Annual Allie Awards on March 15th. Leaders from the local NACE and ISES chapters celebrated at the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead as the Allie Awards Night opened its doors for an evening of mid–century Hollywood glamour. An estimated audience of 300+ industry luminaries, their guests and colleagues gathered for an evening of applause, accolades, and honors. Entries in 29 categories represented industry excellence as nominees vied for the coveted Allie trophy, seen by many as a pinnacle in their career.

Professionals competed in the event disciplines of Event Planning, Event Design, Event Cuisine, Entertainment, Technical Production and Event Enhancements by preparing a comprehensive binder which encapsulates the event’s features for anonymous judging by an out–of–state panel of industry experts. Results were held confidential until the winners were announced on stage amid entertainment segments rich with an 18-piece Big Band sound, vocalist ‘crooners’, and presenters at twin podiums. The culinary team at the Grand Hyatt served an elegant multi–course meal reminiscent of the era.

Proceeds of the evening’s efforts went towards supporting the educational and philanthropic initiatives of both NACE and ISES chapters.
