One of the top culinary events in the country is taking place on the Central Coast.
The second annual Pebble Beach Food and Wine event will cook up the creme de la creme of the epicurean world starting April 16 and ending April 19.
The event will include 22 wine tastings and dozens of meals prepared by the industry’s best chefs.
The Pebble Beach event is quickly eclipsing the two top food and wine events in the country, which are located in Aspen and South Beach in Florida.
“They’re a ski town and beach community and here we are in the salad bowl of the United States,” said David Bernahl, Pebble Beach Food & Wine Co–Founder. “Monterey County, the largest grape growing region in the U.S., Napa is to our north, Santa Barbara to our south.”
Classic Party Rental crews are currently preparing for the four–day event that brought $100,000 to the Central Coast during last year’s event.
“There are so many impacted, hotels, caterers, florists, everyone in the event industry looks to events to help the economy so it's nice that people are still doing events,” Kevin McAuliffe, of Classic Party Rentals said.
